018
Long manual bending of the chair with backrest no. 18, which also forms the chair legs, is copied along the entire length all the way to the seat by the internal movement of the backrest. Models bearing the number 18 have been popular for just under 150 years.
This chair was introduced in 1876. A backrest is filled with manually bent rod that copies the outlines of the backrest.

We manually bend our furniture in the same workshops where this technology has been in use since 1861. However, we moved the features of this unique technique further more and mix them with contemporary designers’ thoughts. Our tables and chairs become a connection of quality, innovative shapes and a legacy to the place that has learned to understand the wood for generations.
