Bent wood where you would not expect it. The chair and barstool are proof that a traditional wood-bending technique knows few limits, even in forms usually reserved for metal furniture. Inspired by the shape of a tennis racket, a generous arch crafted of solid beech wood embraces a plywood seat and backrest. The collection boasts precision craftsmanship, solid construction, comfort and a variety of upholstery options – all in a stackable design. You are sure to return to this collection again and again
Showing no visible joins, the chair 05 combines TON’s signature bent backrest with an elegantly formed, light plywood seat. The chair can be stacked for easy storage and efficient use of space.

We manually bend our furniture in the same workshops where this technology has been in use since 1861. However, we moved the features of this unique technique further more and mix them with contemporary designers’ thoughts. Our tables and chairs become a connection of quality, innovative shapes and a legacy to the place that has learned to understand the wood for generations.
