Auction of limited-edition Petit Merano chairs

TON’s auction of limited-edition Petit Merano chairs has raised 12,266 Euros, with proceeds donated to the organisation Člověk v tísni [People in Need] for their Better Schools for Everyone programme.

TON produced 30 child-sized Petit Merano armchairs for the auction, and three more pieces were produced for the company’s internal archive. The company’s first limited edition proved to be highly popular and served as a great way to celebrate Merano’s first decade. An icon of the company’s current portfolio, Merano has brought the company several international design awards.

“We are very grateful for TON’s gift, we will use it for our Better Schools for Everyone programme, which supports pupils and teachers across Czechia. More than learning new information, we want students to develop relevant skills and to understand the world in its varied contexts,” stated Dana Zimová from Človek v tísni [People in Need].
