Slovak designer Lubo Majer (b.1974) earned his degree in industrial design at the Technical University in Zvolen. Even during his studies, he was already working as a designer and model maker for various companies, while also working in interior design. He has been designing under his own name since 1995, with a focus on furniture. He sees furniture as a means for improving quality of life, which is why he creates items that will impress both with their functionality and aesthetically as well.
He designed the Fleur coat stand for TON.
A simple coat stand with clear-cut contours. Fleur was inspired in its entirety by traditional manual wood bending processes. Three beech wood pieces form the stable legs on one side, which are complemented by three additional narrow joists on the opposite side, thus offering ample space for hanging coats.
