Merano
The Merano series consists of a distinct collection of chairs, armchairs and bar chairs. The whole set of furniture is joined together with flexible plywood and sharp leg lines. The minimalism of the completely wooden designs stands out thanks to the glued structures, for which not a single screw or bolt was needed, although the furniture remains very strong. This is our most sold collection worldwide, and the first armchair in the series has inspired many other manufacturers. The success of the models is also confirmed by the numerous awards that the series has received, such as Red Dot and Good Design.

Merano Barstool
The Merano chair combines the bottom design made of solid wood with harmonic shapes of bent plywood in the seat and backrest. Thanks to the production technology used, it is remarkably light and does not contain any screws or metal pieces

how we make it...
We manually bend our furniture in the same workshops where this technology has been in use since 1861. However, we moved the features of this unique technique further more and mix them with contemporary designers’ thoughts. Our tables and chairs become a connection of quality, innovative shapes and a legacy to the place that has learned to understand the wood for generations.
