Chips earns the prestigious ‘black dot’

Lucie Koldova’s lounge chair Chips has earned one of the oldest and most prestigious global prizes in the field of design. Established in Chicago in 1950, the Good Design Award is organised each year by The Chicago Athenaeum – an international museum of architecture and design – and the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. The competition covers new products in more than 20 categories from all over the globe: Europe, Asia, Africa and North and South America. This year saw a record number of competitors from 47 countries.
