Upholstered models
Manual work and new technology
We don’t just specialise in woodwork in our workshops, but also in upholstery. When developing a product, we focus on making it as comfortable as possible, for example by adding pocket springs. During the manufacturing process, both experienced human hands and new technologies have a chance to shine. For example, we use a cutter for leathers and upholstery materials that help us to cut accurately, utilise them efficiently and eliminate waste.
Albu
design / Alexander Gufler A/IT
The Albu Collection requires precise manual work throughout the upholstery process. It also has excellent ergonomics, which are supported by a system of pocket springs in the seat. The chair, armchair and lounge armchair were all inspired by the ambience of renowned Italian restaurants. The design, based on timeless elements, is complemented by fresh details such as seams that potentially allow several sorts of upholstery material to come together. The very choice of fabric and shade can significantly change the final character of the product. The solid, curved wooden legs pay homage the furniture shape so typical of TON.
Customisation
Some of the models we offer can combine several upholstery materials in one product, or have the option of decorated seams and colourful threads. However, we can take customisation even further. We are happy to accommodate any requests arising from the client’s special requirements or the needs of the relevant interior. We have our own production process, which means that we can also upholster products in the client’s choice of fabric, after technical testing. Our experienced upholsterers work with any type of material that you can send to us or that we can buy for you.

design / Yonoh ES
Ginger is the delicate variant on the fully upholstered armchair. The design was inspired by the shape of root ginger and allows the product to be low in weight, look fresh and also meet high structural strength requirements. The slight curve in the legs pays homage to the heart of TON brand production, bentwood technology. A system of slits in the plywood, filled with special cotton wool, is hidden under the upholstered backrest, to increase comfort while sitting.
The selection of upholstery materials
In our collection, you can find fabrics, leatherettes and natural leathers in several price categories. Most of our fabrics contain more than 50% natural materials. All the fabrics and leathers we offer are suitable for public spaces, in particular because they are highly resistant to abrasion. A number of them also meet the safety requirements for flame resistance.
Moritz
design/ Kai Stania A
The conservative, minimalist design guarantees that the Moritz collection will remain timeless and makes its high-quality workmanship stand out. The hand-cut oakwood, combined with the upholstered pocket springs and reinforced edges, guarantees top comfort by providing high point elasticity and thus enabling the chair to adapt ideally to your body. The chair, armchair, lounge armchair and barstool all underwent a long period of testing and meet the strict requirements for the hotel environment and more.
