Lubo Majer

Lubo Majer is a Slovak designer who holds a degree in industrial design from the Technical University of Zvolen. His designs are characterised by functionality, minimalist approach and inspiration by traditional techniques. For Ton he designed the Fleur coat stand, which is an example of his ability to combine elegance with practicality. Made from three pieces of beech wood, this rack combines simplicity with high stability and utility value. Majer’s work has been featured in exhibitions including Furniture and Living and Forum Design and has been recognised for its innovative approach. His work reflects a sensitive connection between aesthetics and utility, which puts him among the leading Slovak designers.
