Wood is Ton’s primary material and a natural resource that our business has depended on for generations. Our key raw material is solid beech wood, which is valued for its strength and long service life.
This is why we trace the origin of our wood, work with certified supply chains, and support responsible forest management. We hold FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody certification, and we are continuing to develop certified material flows. We have a very focused portfolio of timber suppliers and regard them as partners, maintaining long-term, transparent relationships with them. All of our wood comes from Europe.
We recognise that protecting biodiversity is a practical prerequisite for ensuring the long-term availability of healthy forests and high-quality wood.
